Dear Cobham Park Church Family,
Once a year—usually the Thursday before Homecoming—we schedule a “Church Work Day.” On this occasion, volunteers comb our church building and grounds, looking for any maintenance or cleaning tasks that have been neglected during the preceding year. Air filters and lightbulbs are changed, weeds are pulled up, and “deep-cleaning” happens all over the place.
We intentionally plan our July 27th-30th Revival services for a similar purpose. Over the course of a year, it’s easy to let spiritual maintenance slip. Unhealthy habits and sin can gradually accumulate in our lives. Revival offers a chance for us to step back and notice how we may have drifted from the Lord. We use this time to examine ourselves and recharge our spiritual batteries! Will you allow Him to strengthen, encourage, correct, and lead you in fresh ways? That’s what Revival is for, and you’re invited!
In His Love,
Pastor Keith
