Some half-truths:

1) I’ve heard that Jesus enters my life when I’m baptized … but you are actually entering His life! (Romans 6:1-4)

2) I’ve heard that baptism shows that I believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection … but you are also participating in His death and resurrection! (Romans 6:5-11)

3) I’ve heard that baptism saves me by God’s grace … but baptism is just the first step in your journey of grace! (Romans 6:12-14; Matthew 28:18-20)
